  LOVED this spot with all of the wombats! The wombats seem to have a mange problem there though, so if you're in a caravan be prepared for them to rock it all night when they rub themselves against your axle. I thought that part of it was funny though (not the mange part - that's sad)

  Kangaroo Valley village is about 10min drive away, so it was the perfect early morning coffee.

  Has drinking water and toilets and a dump point for your porta loos lovely grassed areas to camp on

  Great free spot to camp by the river. Wombats, kookaburras, kangaroo's all around the area. Toilets and tap water. Take a portable shower as no showers are there, security in peak times and surveillance. Great spot to canoe or enjoy peace and quiet non peak times.

  One sad note was how many of the wombats had mange. It would be awesome if the state government could try and help support their recovery.

  Loved this camping site. The wombats and river made the setting idyllic. There was also plenty of space. If you can, take a kayak or canoe to spend a day or two heading down river to Talowa Dam.
